Position Description:
The VP for Operations (VPOP) oversees the College's committee system, including joint committees and VSA committees. As the primary liaison to Alumnae/i Association (AAVC) and the Development Office, the VPOP works closely with graduates and aids ongoing fundraising campaigns to support the mission of the College. Additionally, the Vice President serves as the student liaison to Computing and Information Services, College Relations, and Summer Programs. The VPOP maintains the governing documents of the the VSA (Constitution, Bylaws, and Policies) and all VSA Council records, including the minutes and agendas. The Vice President runs biannual elections, and is responsible for all VSA communications and publicity, including the VSA Web site and the VSA Today newsletter. The VPOP sits as the student representative to the the AAVC Board of Directors and chairs the VSA Constitutional Review Committee (CRC) and the VSA Appointments Committee.
