Unless of course you happen to have some sort of shellfish allergy—then you should stick to one of the many other appealing and unique dishes on the menu (the pheasant ravioli also sounds really good!).

The Artist’s Palate in downtown Poughkeepsie purchases fresh, local ingredients daily and offers a variety of seasonal dishes for lunch and dinner at fairly reasonable prices.
