Babycakes Café (which actually sells “baby cakes,” by the way) is a cute (aww) European style café and pastry shop that sells picture-perfect pastries, salads, sandwiches, and more, prepared on site using primarily locally grown ingredients. A favorite of many students, the café is run by a CIA (that’s the Culinary Institute of America, not the Central Intelligence Agency) graduate, which must mean it’s extra good (right?).
Brunch/lunch entrees are mostly priced between $7 and $10, with the cost of pastries about half of that. For gourmet food at such reasonable prices, Babycakes definitely fits into our budget.
