From helium balloons to do-rags to candy to Playboy videos from the 1980’s (and no, we’re not kidding), the $1 Yard probably has the most random collection of goods for a store of its size, but it has been outfitting Vassar a) dorm rooms, TA’s, TH’s b) parties c) any possible situation you can think of, since its existence. Some of our best finds were kitchen supplies (why pay more than $1 for a whisk?) and birthday cards (some of them are lame enough that they’re hilarious!). And if you don’t go for a new toothbrush, you should at least check it out for a thoroughly entertaining experience.
