As our community becomes increasingly international, individuals need to understand the meaning of being a global citizen and how to successfully communicate across cultural boundaries. This workshop will focus on discussions of verbal and non-verbal cues of numerous cultures in order to increase awareness and decrease the possibility of misunderstanding and antagonization. Participants will walk away with a respect for intercultural communication and competence, thus becoming positive change agents for others around them.
