Favorite thing about Cushing: That moment when Anish and Ollie first see each other across the great hall and start running towards each other. I swear, everything goes into slow motion and the theme from Far From the Madding rowd can be heard.

One advice for incoming Vassar students: Caffeine is the nectar of productivity.
Also, I would suggest surrounding yourself with the people you want to become. You grow towards the people you spend time with, so make them people who make you want to be excellent.

Favorite thing about Cushing: I love the feeling of community in Cushing. It really does feel like home, and I am so grateful for the lovely individuals I’ve met in this dorm.

One advice for incoming Vassar students: Be open to new ideas, new people, new understandings of yourself. College is an amazing time to try new things and meet really awesome people, so if you’re even a little bit interested in something give yourself the opportunity to explore it.
