To get dark room access:
- Request the Dark Room Quiz from me via email (if you have not already received it) and return it with the completed answers.
- I will email you back with your results. If you get them right then you MUST attend a short dark room orientation (max 15 min.) OR a longer workshop/refresher course (max 1 hour) before getting full access to the dark room.
- In order to get card access to the dark room you must pay the fee of $25 for the year and sign a Dark Room Contract which need to be handed in to Ann Lynch in the Campus activities office. Once you do this, Ann will give you card access to the dark room and you are free to use it at any time during the year.
We also have four cameras which can be signed out and used by members, including a Canon and Nikon DSLR, a Nikon film camera, and a Diana film camera. If you would like to borrow a camera:
- Email me with:
- Name and 999#
- Which camera you would like to use
- How long you would like to use the camera
- I will send you a confirmation email to let you know if the camera is available
- Check the camera out from Ann Lynch in the Campus Activities office
- Please respect the return times as others may need to use the camera for a project, special event, etc.
Because of the recent changes made to the Media Cloisters our digital printer is currently not available for use. Once the Cloisters are up and running we will have full access to the printer. There is a $20 fee per semester (ink is expensive!) and once the it has been paid you will have access to the printer during designated hours or by scheduling an appt. with me (MUST be present for member use of the printer). Students are allowed to print a maximum of five 8×10 photographs per session (or ten 4×6 / 5×7 photographs, etc.).
