Trick or Treat for UNICEF

Sixty years ago, America’s kids took to the streets on Halloween collecting change to help children left vulnerable by World War II. This year, the tradition continues with kids across America making a difference in the lives of children around the world.

The 2010 Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF campaign is the perfect opportunity to teach others how to make a difference in the world through their voluntary service. Participants learn about the realities that countless children endure every day as they struggle to survive in the face of disease, disasters, and other hardships. By participating in Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF, youth have the opportunity to be a part of the solution!

By combining service tasks – such as fundraising and awareness activities – with structured learning opportunities, Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF supports self-reflection, self-discovery, and the acquisition and comprehension of values, skills, and knowledge content.

We will supply you with the tools necessary to Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF. Contact us at unicefatvassar@vassar.edu for more information. We look forward to hearing from you soon!
