Eco-Architecture

According to the Huffington Post, a new eco-city in China is in the works. Expected to be inhabitable in 2020, this city would boast a 350,000 resident occupancy spanning 30 sq. km, an advanced transit system and the most innovative green technologies in the world. Solar-panels and extensive expanses of greenery would be the norm in this futuristic, earth-friendly city. It seems that green building is the trend these days, a hopeful sign that perhaps the smog-laden cities of today could be the sites for the eco-cities of tomorrow.
