The J.Viewz project was established by Jonathan Dagan mid 2002. Whilst working with the band Violet Vision (see below) on their 2nd album, Jonathan used his spare time to record a solo project. Taking many diverse musicians into the studio, The J.Viewz project started to metamorphosize into ‘freestyle chill’ blending elements of soft breakbeat, trip-hop, 2 step, jazz and more, all in a mellow groove.

Jonathan, 25, started his musical career with his band Violet Vision. Their debut release was the album “First Sign of Communication”, which drew rave reviews from the press and saw them invited to perform live in many festivals and clubs around the world. Violet Vision have also had their tracks released on various compilations and singles,including their successful single “Your Voice”, which was supported by DJ’s like Anthony Papa, Cass, Sander Kleinenberg, Hernan Cattaneo, Moshic and many others with excellent reception.Other than working with J.Viewz, Jonathan works as an independent producer and composes music for the BBC, National Geographic, Fox Kids and Discovery channels.

We are Vassar College Entertainment, but you can just call us ViCE. ViCE is a student-run organization that is responsible for bringing any and all forms of entertainment to campus, both small and large in scale. Throughout the year ViCE's seven committees work together to provide Vassar campus with weekly concerts, film screenings, comedy shows, dance parties, as well as major music concerts, all of which reflect the breadth and diversity of Vassar students’ entertainment interests.
