These guys sound like a big huge brick of a late 80s computer tripping its way through a Talk Talk video. or more specifically, dark synthy jams that chug along to the end of time, where the next jam picks up. one of those head-nodding whiplash deals. check out the “Dust on Common” LP from Wierd Records. and watch the sick-ass video below.

TRUMAN PEYOTE (JP, Boston, MA)
Some bands are burdened with names that outshine their jams. Truman Peyote have a serious mountain to climb over the perfect drug-pun, but duh no shit they do it, duh. You’ll get lost in hazy drone land: eloquent, well-known, gifted. then the beat drops and you remember the whole peyote thing when you’re head’s already sittin sideways. look out for new 7 and 12″ vinyl splits w/ Turtle Ambulance and Many Mansions (oh, hm). for now check out their track “Anotherother” on the Friendship Bracelet Club Vol.3 comp.

MANY MANSIONS (JP, Boston, MA)
drones n drones, slow cooked to perfection. MM play spare, constantly building noisy drone jams that you’ll see building before your eyes. But these are jams that shimmer and invite you in (to their mansion of course). good buds of Truman Peyote, they will also share the stage w/ recent No-ViCE alums Teeth Mountain and Blissed Out this month. the family gets thicker as you’ll recognize Orion (bass – Prince Rama) as he joins both TP and MM to share his drumming skills this week.

We are Vassar College Entertainment, but you can just call us ViCE. ViCE is a student-run organization that is responsible for bringing any and all forms of entertainment to campus, both small and large in scale. Throughout the year ViCE's seven committees work together to provide Vassar campus with weekly concerts, film screenings, comedy shows, dance parties, as well as major music concerts, all of which reflect the breadth and diversity of Vassar students’ entertainment interests.
