of Montreal to headline ViCE spring concert with opener the Knocks!

You heard it right! ViCE Music is proud to announce that indie pop-rock sensation of Montreal will be headling our spring concert  with special opener the Knocks.

of Montreal hails from Athens, Georgia and is signed with Polyvinyl and Joyful Noise Recordings. Their tenth studio album, “False Priest”, dropped in September 2010. Check them out at: http://www.myspace.com/ofmontreal

The Knocks, a electronic music duo from NYC, are signed with Neon Gold Records. There first single “Make It Better” was released in July 2010. Download their free MP3s at: http://www.myspace.com/itstheknocks

The concert will take place Saturday, April 23rd in Vassar’s own Walker Field House. Doors will open at 9pm and the show will start at 10pm!

So how do you get a ticket? Easy:

Student ticket sales will begin Wednesday, March 23rd in the College Center North Atrium. Tickets will cost $18 and a Vassar I.D. will be required for purchase.

Tickets sales for the general public will begin Thursday, March 3rd. Tickets will cost $30 and are availble at ticketweb: http://www.ticketweb.com/t3/sale/SaleEventDetail?dispatch=loadSelectionData&eventId=3546605
