Syllabus The Vassar College Aikido Club follows the curriculum set out by the Japan Aikido Association/USA. This curriculum is identical to that used in Japan by the Japan Aikido Association and Sensei Flynn strives to maintain Japanese quality standards. The requirements for each of the eight kyu ranks (colored belts) and for each of the first five dan ranks (degrees of black belt) are listed on separate pages.
