Schedule for 4/21

Schedule updated. News includes the last PTB meeting of the year on Wednesday 4/23, and we're looking for artists interested in drawing art for the NSO t-shirts or even NonCon! Email suz if interested, preferably with samples of art and ideas. Also, we have been invited to a lecture at Dutchess Community College, given by Kent Worcester. It will be Thursday 4/23 at 7:00pm, Dutchess Community College, Taconic Hall Room 103. The topic is "Toon Town: Comic Books and New York City."

Schedule for 3/30

Updates Galore!

If you want to participate in the first ever NSO model rocket launch, contact Mickey for a request for a rocket, and it will be ordered for you (though you will have to pay for it). The launch pad and rocket engines will be provided. The launch will be at the end of the year. Go to here to pick out a rocket if you'd like to participate.

Gaming For Hope is a charity gaming event put on by the Anime Society and the Computer Society at Marist College every year (April 4th this year). If you are free this Saturday and feel like playing video games for charity, check it out! More information can be found at their website.

Don't forget also that NSO elections happen this Friday between noon and midnight! NSO voting members are eligible to vote. If you're not sure if that applies to you, or if you did not receive the elections email and you think you should have, contact suz.

Spring Break is over and Masquerave planning has begun. It promises to be off of the hook (or whatever kids these days are saying). If you would like to run for a PTB position for 2009/2010, email suz by 3/28 with the position you are running for as well as a brief written speech about why people should vote for you.

Ben Reichman would like to know if anyone else is interested in going to Smith College's convention, ConBust! It takes place Friday 3/27 - Sunday 3/29, and they provide free overnight housing! Email him if you want to go: bereichman@vassar.edu

Anime Night is canceled this week! Last week's PTB minutes have been uploaded and can be found on the Officers page! Also PRE-ORDER YOUR NSO T-SHIRT by emailing your color and size to surozier@vassar.edu! The available colors are:

New Website!!

Hey look at that! As you can see the website has had a little bit of a makeover. I hope you guys like it (write your comments on the tagboard!).
