Registration desk hours: Friday 5pm-12am, Saturday 11am-12am, Sunday 12pm-5pm.
Dealer's room hours: Friday 5pm-10pm, Saturday 11am-10pm, Sunday 12pm-5pm.

*Scott McCloud's panel will be held in Taylor 203. A map to Taylor will be available in con booklets.

Cosplay contest

The cosplay contest rules and entry form can be downloaded here (PDF file). If you would like to register for the contest, please fill out and email the form to lascanlan@vassar.edu. You will also be able to register at the actual convention.

Video game tournaments

Our video game tournaments this year will be: Call of Duty 4, Street Fighter 4, Super Smash Brothers Brawl, Halo 3, DDR, Soul Calibur 4, and Rock Band 2! Registration for these tournaments will be available at the convention.

Tabletop games

NonCon9 will feature tabletop games run by Looney Labs, the IAGO World Tour, Playroom Entertainment and Vassar's own Justin Chay. Plus Magic: The Gathering tournaments run by Alterniverse!

Panels

NonCon9's student panels this year include Chainmail, Eye of Argon, Anime Trivia, Fandom Deathmatch, and Fandom Dating Game! Our guests will also be giving panels!

Karaoke

PJ the DJ returns this year to do karaoke at NonCon for not one, but TWO nights!

Anime screening

Anime shown at NonCon this year will be Minami-ke, Yakitate! Japan, Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, and Dennou Coil.

Maid cafe

Experience the fantasy of a maid cafe without going to Japan! Customers will be served a prix-fixe brunch by our super cute maids!
